TL;DR: i passed the AWS CLF-C02 in ~15-20 hours of study. here's my exact playbook.

i just passed the aws certified cloud practitioner (clf-c02) exam. and honestly, the hardest part wasn't the exam itself. it was finding the time to study while running marketing full-time at a cloud security company.
here's exactly how i did it, what resources i used, and what i'd do differently.
i'm the marketing lead at trustoncloud. every day, i'm writing about cloud security, creating content for cloudsec professionals, and talking to head of cloud security, cisos and cloud architects.
i already hold multiple microsoft azure certifications from my time at microsoft.
but aws is a different beast. different services, different naming conventions, different ecosystem.
i wanted to close that gap so i could speak the language of our customers with confidence, not just surface-level fluency.

the bottom line: marketers who deeply understand their product will always outperform those who don't.

i didn't take a bootcamp. i didn't grind for months. i was intentional about every hour i put in.
